二、教科書:
Tanka, J., & Baker, L. R. (1996). Interactions II: A Listening & Speaking Skills Book. Third Edition. New York: McGraw-Hill Publishing Company.
三、成績評量方式:
Students will be asked to take a mid-term examination and a final examination. Examinations will cover all the readings and material discussed in class. Time and place of these major examinations will be announced two weeks in advance.
Attendance is required and absences must be excused. This means that students are required to attend class. Please inform your instructor if you know beforehand that you will not be able to attend class. In case of emergency or sickness, inform the instructor in writing during your next attendance. Absences without legitimate excuse will affect your final grade.
Late attendance for class will also be counted against you, and points will be taken off your attendance and participation grades.
You will be evaluated on your attendance (10%), participation in class (10%) and class activities (20%), mid-term (20%) and final (40%) examinations. Grades are not negotiable under any circumstances!
Good English ability is an advantage in this course, but fulfilling the requirements is the only way to achieve high final grades.
